A singer, dancer, actress, host, self-proclaimed comedian... Joanne does it all. Although she has been earning these titles since she could walk and talk (growing up in dance lessons, community theatre, and any other performing opportunity she could grasp) her professional performing career wasn't as obvious for her.
Joanne graduated from the University of South Florida in 2019 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in CHEMISTRY. Although she began a successful career in the lab, she felt called for more. She quit her job and began auditioning for any performing opportunities she could find. She had fun dipping her toes into this world in various roles such as a party princess performer, theme park scare actor, and murder mystery dinner theatre host (quickly graduated from actor due to her ability to command the room). But her first notable professional gig was singing in the Candlelight Carolers at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
The following year Joanne also performed in the inaugural cast of Busch Garden Tampa's "Rock the Grave" show as a lead vocalist (covering both female tracks). In 2023, Joanne made her professional theatre debut at Spotlight Center dinner theatre in Fleming Island, FL. There, she portrayed the role of Linda Mason in Irving Berlin's "Holiday Inn," where she sang, tap danced and acted her way into the audience's hearts (always receiving compliments on her lovely singing voice). In 2024, Joanne continued performing in several more productions with them including Gilligan's Island: The Musical (Ginger) and, most notably, A Closer Walk With Patsy Cline (Patsy Cline).
In parallel to these performances, Joanne also began singing in cabaret shows, coffee shops, and ALFs; performing various genres including 50's, 60's, 70's, musical theatre, Disney, and rock. Although praised for her versatility, Joanne has a soft spot for the oldies. For this reason, Joanne then decided to create her own individual show filled with her favorites: Golden Oldies. In this show she sings, dances, and jokes about her life on and off stage, and about how she became inspired by this type of music. Additionally, Joanne has just created a Patsy Cline Tribute Show called Musically Yours, Patsy Cline. Her dream is to eventually bring her solo shows to a cruise line in the near future!
